Apprentice Machinists
Apprentice applicants will be required to pass a skills aptitude test, background check, and an intensive cross functional team interview process.
Machinists
Requirements for all machinist positions include experience with capability studies, SPC and the use of micrometers. A strong metric background is preferred. Machinists are responsible for all tooling and tooling data related to jobs run on machines. Candidates must have at least three years experience with one of the following:
Manufacturing Quality Engineers
Candidates must have at least three years experience in tooling and high volume precision machining, specifically for turning and/or grinding machines (Tornos, Hydromat, CNC). Requirements include knowledge of standard quality systems (PPAP, GR&R, R&R), knowledge of key engineering systems (Lean, VSM, ECN, Kaizen, PFMEA, APQP) and exceptional problem solving skills. Responsibilities include standardizing processes and engineering documentation, documenting continuous improvement efforts, overseeing product launches from start to finish and quoting new projects. Successful candidates will be flexible, able to multitask, be self-starters and possess a “hands on” mentality.
Product Managers
Candidates must have experience in high volume precision machining and with planning, organizing, directing and controlling the operational functions of a defined production area. Responsibilities include the ability to manage and develop direct reporting staff, manage and control department expenditures, interact with customers regarding issues concerning quality, cost and delivery, and identify and fix problems by utilizing appropriate problem solving tools.
